Anthony Burns has joined U.S. production and representation company Grail as an in-house creative producer, where he will develop and package original film and television projects.

Burns made his feature directing debut with Skateland, a coming-of-age drama he co-wrote and produced. The film premiered at Sundance in 2010, screened at SXSW and starred Shiloh Fernandez and Ashley Greene. He later directed and produced Home Sweet Hell, starring Patrick Wilson, Katherine Heigl and Jordana Brewster.

His producing credits include Monica, starring Trace Lysette and Patricia Clarkson; the Jimi Hendrix biopic Jimi: All Is by My Side, starring André Benjamin; and Green Is Gold. Burns also recently served as showrunner on José vs. Mourinho, a Grail collaboration with Coca-Cola and Goal for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He has also worked with Grail founder Davide Bianca on the original project A Song To Raise The Dead.

Founded by filmmaker Davide Bianca and producer Jeff Krelitz, Grail is headquartered in Florida and Los Angeles. The company develops and produces projects across film, television, advertising, gaming, animation, immersive media and AI. Its portfolio includes work for Coca-Cola, Microsoft and Activision, including Fanta’s Haunted Universe.
