The first season of Avatar: Seven Havens ends with Pavi and Nisha discovering the truth about their parents and the events that separated them three years earlier. The finale also includes a quieter revelation that may have significant implications for the Avatar’s history.

After unlocking her root chakra and dispelling a large sphere of spirit energy threatening Ellora, Pavi awakens on an astral plane. There, she sees her seven chakras and visions of previous Avatars, including Kyoshi, Roku, Aang and Korra. The figures do not speak, but their appearance goes beyond anything previously shown regarding the past-life connection.

The moment recalls a major development from The Legend of Korra. During the battle with Vaatu and Unalaq in Book 2, Vaatu was separated from Korra and Raava was shattered. Although Korra ultimately restored Raava and won the fight, she did not regain her connection to the Avatars who came before her.

That decision has remained controversial among many fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Seven Havens may now be suggesting that the connection was damaged rather than permanently erased.

At the end of the season, Kyoshi, Roku and Aang appear as constellations while performing bending movements. Korra then takes shape and guides Pavi toward her second chakra. Since the Avatars do not communicate directly, the scene does not confirm that the link can be restored. However, it leaves open the possibility that Pavi’s continued work with her chakras could strengthen the visions or even begin repairing the connection lost centuries earlier.

The series has already introduced changes to elements associated with both Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, making a future exploration of this idea possible. Seven Havens has been renewed through Season 4, while the Kuruk-focused series Wave of Chaos is also in development. A restoration of the past-life connection would give the franchise’s earlier controversy a new direction while retaining the importance of Korra’s original story.
