Bill Nighy, Hayley Atwell and Maisie Williams have joined the English-language voice cast of The Last Dino, a CG-animated family feature directed by Federico Milella. The film is due to make its market premiere at the American Film Market next week, ahead of planned international theatrical releases in 2027.

The story follows Rex, the son of the King of Dinosaurs, who is sent 65 million years into the future. In a world where dinosaurs are extinct and intelligence counts for more than strength, he teams up with an unexpected group of friends as he tries to find his way home.

Written by Ben Smith, The Last Dino is produced by Luxembourg-based Fabrique d’Images, alongside co-producers Freaks Factory in Belgium, Terrible Lizard Productions in the U.K. and Broadvision Perspectives India. The production has support from Film Fund Luxembourg and Wallimage.

International sales are handled by Global Constellation, which has secured distribution deals in territories including France, the U.K. and Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, parts of Europe, the Middle East, Vietnam and Latin America.
