Chanel Pysnik is leaving Archewell Productions, where she has led the company’s nonfiction film and television work for five and a half years. She joined the production company in May 2021, and no replacement has been named.

During her time at Archewell, Pysnik was an executive producer on the documentary series “Harry & Meghan,” which the company says became Netflix’s most-viewed documentary premiere, and “With Love, Meghan,” which received a Daytime Emmy nomination. Her credits also include Archewell’s first feature documentary, “Cookie Queens,” which premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, and the series “Heart of Invictus,” “Polo” and “Live to Lead,” as well as the short film “Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within.”

In a joint statement, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said Pysnik was among Archewell’s first hires and helped shape its nonfiction strategy. They praised her contribution to the company’s storytelling and said they supported her as she moves on to her next chapter.

Pysnik said it had been an honor to build Archewell Productions with the couple and expressed pride in the company’s creative and commercial work. She has not disclosed her future plans.

Before joining Archewell, Pysnik held nonfiction roles at Disney+ and CNN. Her credits there included “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown,” “United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell,” “American Dynasties: The Kennedys,” “The Story of Late Night,” “Pope: The Most Powerful Man in History” and “Unmasking a Killer.”
