Devin McRae has launched McRae LLP after spending 16 years at Early Sullivan Wright Gizer & McRae, the Hollywood law firm he co-founded in 2010. The new practice will focus on litigation involving the entertainment industry, intellectual property and insurance coverage disputes.

McRae LLP builds on McRae’s previous work with clients and matters connected to The Walking Dead, Legendary Pictures, the family of baseball player Roberto Clemente, Timeless, the late Shannen Doherty and Verve, among others.

McRae said the firm is designed for entertainment professionals and companies that need lawyers familiar with both the business and legal sides of the industry. Its clients include comedian Nate Bargatze, actor LaKeith Stanfield and former Palisades residents who lost their homes in the 2025 fires.

Peter Scott and Lisa Boswell, who also previously worked at Early Sullivan Wright Gizer & McRae, will join McRae at the new firm. Before co-founding ESWG&M, McRae was an associate at Glaser Weil.

McRae is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He earned his law degree from UCLA School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of New Mexico.
