Basketball fans will have expanded access to the NBA G League during the 2026-27 season, with ESPN planning to air more than 150 games across its streaming and television platforms. Coverage will be available through the ESPN app, ESPN+, ESPNU and ESPNEWS.
The schedule begins Tuesday, November 10, when nine games will stream on ESPN+. The opening slate includes the Rio Grande Valley Vipers against the Oklahoma City Blue, the Motor City Cruise against the Cleveland Charge and the Texas Legends against the Mexico City Capitanes. Other games that day feature the Rip City Remix, Salt Lake City Stars, Long Island Nets, College Park Skyhawks, Iowa Wolves, Noblesville Boom, Osceola Magic, Memphis Hustle, San Diego Clippers, Coachella Valley, Valley Suns and Stockton Kings.
ESPN’s announced coverage spans the NBA G League Tip-Off Tournament, regular-season games, the NBA G League Winter Showcase and the 2027 postseason, including the Finals. The network said additional playoff coverage will be included later in the schedule.
The NBA G League Winter Showcase will return from December 19 through December 22 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. ESPN will carry 16 games from the event across ESPN+, ESPNEWS and ESPNU. The Winter Showcase Championship is scheduled for Tuesday, December 22, at 5 p.m. Eastern on ESPNU.
Most of the games listed in ESPN’s schedule will be available through ESPN+. The games can be watched in the ESPN app on supported phones, tablets, smart TVs and streaming devices, although access to paid programming requires a subscription. The subscription needed depends on the platform carrying a particular matchup.
ESPN Select, which includes ESPN+ programming, costs $13.99 per month or $139.99 per year. Fans seeking ESPN’s full network lineup, including ESPNU and ESPNEWS, can subscribe to ESPN Unlimited for $31.99 per month or $319.99 per year. Eligible pay-TV subscriptions may also provide access to those channels through the ESPN app.
ESPN’s linear networks are also available through several live-TV streaming services, including DIRECTV, Fubo, Sling TV, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV.
The announced total is below the more than 215 G League games ESPN promoted for the 2025-26 season, but the 2026-27 package still covers games across the regular season, Winter Showcase and playoffs. All times in the published schedule are Eastern, and ESPN’s announced listings currently run through March 9, with postseason games to be added.
