The Google Fitbit Inspire 3 is now available on Amazon for $69.95, marking a $30 reduction from its standard price of $99.95. This sale represents a 30% savings and includes an additional perk: a 90-day offer for Amazon Music. The device is positioned as a lightweight alternative to smartwatches, designed for users who want to monitor daily activity, sleep, and exercise without paying for advanced features they may not utilize.
The Inspire 3 focuses on essential health metrics, offering all-day activity and heart rate tracking alongside Active Zone Minutes to measure exercise intensity. It supports over 40 exercise modes, including walking, running, cycling, yoga, and strength training, with automatic recognition for certain workouts. Sleep monitoring is a key feature, providing a Sleep Score to track patterns over time and a Smart Wake alarm that vibrates during lighter sleep stages. Additional wellness tools include stress management scores, guided breathing sessions, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, resting heart rate monitoring, and menstrual health tracking. Irregular heart rhythm notifications are also available where supported.
Battery life is rated for up to 10 days on a single charge, though actual performance depends on usage settings. The device features a slim, comfortable band intended for continuous wear during workouts, work, and sleep. Users should note that the Inspire 3 relies on a smartphone's GPS for connected workout tracking, meaning a phone must be present to record routes and distances. Furthermore, some insights and guided content may require a Google Health Premium membership.
For those seeking more advanced capabilities, the Fitbit Charge 6 is also on sale at Amazon for $129.45, down from $159.95. This represents a savings of approximately $30.50 or 19%. The Charge 6 distinguishes itself with built-in GPS, allowing users to record pace and distance during outdoor activities without carrying a phone. It also includes Google Maps directions, Google Wallet support, and more advanced workout tools. While the Inspire 3 remains the budget-friendly choice for basic tracking, the Charge 6 costs about $59.50 more but offers significant advantages for regular exercisers who prefer to leave their phones behind.
