Singer-songwriter Jackson Wang has signed with talent agency WME for representation. The deal comes as Wang features in an Apple campaign connected to his latest single and music video, “Thank You.” He will continue to be represented by Team Wang Records and Roc Nation as well.

Wang’s 2019 debut album, “Mirrors,” was the first album by a solo Chinese artist to reach the Billboard Top 200, according to the announcement. He has collaborated with Ciara, Swae Lee, Major Lazer and Gucci Mane, and has headlined Los Angeles’ Kia Forum and Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. In 2022, he became the first Chinese solo artist to perform on Coachella’s main stage.

In a separate deal, Position Music has signed Grammy-winning group Arkai to a joint venture with Lindsey Stirling’s label, LindseyStomp. Position Music A&R executive Jake Versluis facilitated the agreement.

The Juilliard graduates, described as “Hans Zimmer meets 2Cellos,” have worked on projects for film and television, as well as events including the Emmy Awards, the Grammy Museum and the NBA Finals. Stirling said Arkai’s creative approach and willingness to cross genre boundaries suited the label, and described Position Music as a partner in bringing the group’s music to a wider audience.

The announcements were among a series of music-industry moves that also included appointments at Empire, Create Music Group and Nebula17, as well as new deals involving Glassnote Records, the Orchard, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, Oak View Group and Independent Artist Group.
