Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie are joining forces again for Dogfight, a Netflix revenge Action film set in the London criminal underworld. The project will mark their seventh film together. Netflix has described it as a stylish action story, but has not disclosed further plot details.
Ritchie is set to write, direct and produce the film, while Statham will star. Production is expected to begin in early 2027, with filming taking place in the U.K.
The production companies are Black Bear Pictures, Ritchie’s Toff Guy Films and Statham’s Punch Palace Productions. Ritchie, Statham, Toff Guy partner Ivan Atkinson and Black Bear’s John Friedberg are among the producers.
The pair’s collaboration began with Ritchie’s 1998 directorial debut, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, which gave Statham his first film role. They later worked together on Snatch, Revolver, Wrath of Man and Operation Fortune: Rose de Guerre.
Their latest feature together is Viva La Madness, an action thriller based on J.J. Connolly’s novel, which follows his book Layer Cake. Principal photography wrapped earlier this year. Black Bear is handling distribution in North America, while Amazon MGM Studios holds the rights to most international territories.
