Lili Reinhart, Danny Ramirez, Suki Waterhouse, Mark Duplass and Lukas Gage are set to star in “Violet,” a psychosexual horror film directed by Patrick Brice, known for the “Creep” franchise. Nick Antosca and Alana B. Lytle wrote the screenplay, adapting Antosca’s short story “Ghostfish.”

The story follows Sean (Ramirez), who begins a relationship with his childhood friend Kate (Reinhart) two years after the sudden death of his fiancée, Violet (Waterhouse). When the couple moves into the house Sean once shared with Violet, unsettling messages arrive from someone—or something—claiming to be his dead former partner.

SK Global and Generator Entertainment are producing and financing the film. FilmNation Entertainment will handle domestic and international sales at the American Film Market, and production is scheduled to begin in spring 2027.

Producers include Kelly McKee and Kenneth Browning for Generator Entertainment, Elizabeth Haggard and Dylan Tarason for SK Global, and Antosca and Alex Hedlund for Eat the Cat. Jeannine Tang, Chris Collins, Rasool Alizadeh, Gemma Levinson and Jackson Stewart are executive producers. Jessica Kelly is the casting director.
