Lili Taylor has joined the second season of Netflix’s psychological crime thriller The Beast in Me as a series regular. She will play Fiona, the stepmother of Claire Danes’ character, author Aggie Wiggs.
Danes will reprise her role, while John Goodman plays Aggie’s father, who is believed to be a con artist. Netflix has not yet disclosed further plot details for the new season.
Season 1 writers and executive producers Howard Gordon and Daniel Pearle are returning as co-showrunners. They will executive produce the second season alongside Danes, series creator Gabe Rotter and other members of the first season’s producing team. 20th Television is the studio.
Taylor was recently seen in a recurring role as Governor Marge McCaffrey in Disney+’s Daredevil: Born Again. She is also set to appear as Mags Flanagan in The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping.
