MeTV Toons is bringing holiday animation to viewers with an expanded 'Tis the Season for Toons block. The classic-animation network said the programming will air every Saturday at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT and Sunday at 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT from November 7 through December 21. Additional unique schedules are planned for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The network announced the lineup on its site on October 31, 2026. In the announcement, MeTV Toons said, "There's magic in the air as the holidays approach, and that means MeTV Toons is ready to get holly and jolly with 'Tis the Season for Toons! Every weekend in November and December, we will show animated holiday specials." The block combines longtime Hanna-Barbera favorites with rarer specials, Dr. Seuss adaptations, and surprise titles from the network's library.

The schedule opens Saturday, November 7, with a Dr. Seuss and Thanksgiving-themed night. The Thanksgiving That Almost Wasn't airs at 6 p.m., followed by The Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who!, and The Lorax. On Sunday, November 8, the lineup features A Flintstone Christmas, the film FernGully: The Last Rainforest, and Christmas shorts.

Later weekends will include multiple Flintstones holiday titles, such as A Flintstone Christmas Carol, A Flintstone Family Christmas, and the "Christmas Flintstone" episode. Other scheduled specials include Yogi's First Christmas, A Jetsons Christmas Carol, Smurfs holiday programs including 'Tis the Season to Be Smurfy and The Smurfs Christmas Special, and Cave Kids Christmas.

December brings Casper's First Christmas, The Little Troll Prince, The Town That Santa Forgot, a Super Mario Bros. holiday double feature with "Koopa Klaus" and "The Night Before Cave Christmas," Sonic Christmas Blast, Christmas Comes to Pac-Land, A Miser Brothers' Christmas, The Story of Santa Claus featuring Ed Asner and Betty White, A Very Bugs Bunny Christmas, Scooby-Doo holiday episodes, The Stingiest Man in Town, and the 1971 Academy Award-winning A Christmas Carol. MeTV Toons also teased Thanksgiving and Black Friday specials alongside the main block.

MeTV Toons describes itself as the only major TV destination devoted solely to classic cartoons, and it is presenting the multi-week event as a season-long celebration of holiday animation nostalgia from the 1960s through the 1990s. Viewers can watch the block over-the-air on local affiliates or through streaming services that carry the channel. Full details and any late additions are available on metvtoons.com and the network's social channels.
