Olivia Rodrigo is set to release her first Christmas song, “Take Me Home (4 Christmas),” on Thursday at 5 p.m. PT. The single will arrive with a music video starring Rodrigo, “Sex and the City” actress Cynthia Nixon and “Saturday Night Live” breakout Ben Marshall.

Rodrigo wrote the song with frequent collaborators Dan Nigro and Amy Allen, while Nigro also produced it. A 7-inch vinyl edition and cassette will be available to pre-order through Target’s website, with copies expected in stores on Friday.

The holiday release follows Rodrigo’s “Expectations” remix featuring Chappell Roan, which arrived on Oct. 15 with a video that also included Talking Heads frontman David Byrne as a game-show host.

Rodrigo is also scheduled to be honored at Variety’s 10th annual Hitmakers event in Los Angeles this December, where she will receive the Songwriter of the Year Award. The event will also recognize Sienna Spiro with the Visionary Voice Award and Katseye as Group of the Year.

The singer released her third album, “You Look Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,” in June and held the first Daisy Chains Festival, which raised more than $20 million for nonprofit organizations focused on women’s rights. She is currently performing on her “Unraveled” world tour, which is scheduled to continue through May 2027.
