The first full-length trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 introduces new gods, demigods and monsters as Percy prepares for an increasingly dangerous mission. Based on The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series, the season will center on the growing threat of a war between the Greek gods and the Titans.

Percy, played by Walker Scobell, is expected to seek help from Thalia, the daughter of Zeus, portrayed by Tamara Smart. Recruiting her will not be straightforward, however, as Percy and his allies must also rescue Nico and Bianca di Angelo, the children of Hades. The trailer offers the first footage of Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie in those roles.

The siblings’ rescue mission takes a darker turn when Annabeth, played by Leah Sava Jeffries, is captured by Luke’s forces. She is taken to Atlas at an enemy stronghold in California, where she is forced to carry the weight of the sky in place of Artemis or Luke. Zeus, played by Courtney B. Vance, warns that victory will come at a cost.

The preview also reveals Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite and Ming-Na Wen as Hera. It features new looks at Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes and Adam Copeland as Ares, while Jennifer Beals joins the season as Demeter and Hubert Smielecki plays Apollo.

Among the threats shown is Talos, a giant bronze automaton prototype located in the Junkyard of the Gods. The season’s additional cast includes Holt McCallany as Atlas, David Costabile as Dr. Thorn, Jesse L. Martin as Frederick Chase, Dafne Keen as Artemis and Saara Chaudry as Zoë Nightshade.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 will premiere on Disney+ on November 20. The series was created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, with Steinberg, Dan Shotz, Craig Silverstein and Riordan among its executive producers.
