Phars Film will distribute Shah Rukh Khan’s King in international cinemas from December 24, with the film opening on the same day as its India release. Pen Marudhar holds the distribution rights in India.
King is directed by Siddarth Anand and produced by RED Chillies Entertainment in association with Marflix Pictures. It reunites Khan and Anand after their 2023 film Pathaan.
Red Chillies Entertainment CEO Venky Mysore said the company was pleased to appoint Phars Film as the overseas distributor, citing its international reach and market expertise. Phars Film Chairman Ahmad Golchin described securing the deal as a source of pride and said the company looked forward to bringing the film to audiences in cinemas.
