Shantel VanSanten is set to return to FBI as Special Agent Nina Chase in the episode “Posterity,” airing November 16. The installment will reunite Nina with Scola as the pair work together on a new case.
According to the episode synopsis, the team investigates the murder of an online influencer and discovers that one of its cameras recorded a criminal on the Most Wanted list. The agents will work alongside Nina to intercept the suspect before he disappears.
“Posterity” was written by Jake Tinker and directed by Milena Govich.
VanSanten most recently appeared on FBI in “Confetti,” the eleventh episode of Season 8. In that story, Nina was involved in an undercover operation aimed at persuading a cartel member to testify against his family in exchange for witness protection. The episode ended with Nina and Scola’s wedding, attended by members of the FBI team, including Isobel and Jubal.
VanSanten was also a series regular during Seasons 5 and 6 of FBI: Most Wanted, which ended in 2025.
