È stata annunciata la scaletta di «The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album)», che riunisce 29 brani di artisti affermati ed emergenti tra rock, country e Americana. La raccolta include contributi di Ella Langley, Tyler Childers, Kacey Musgraves, Stevie Nicks, The Cure e diversi membri del cast del film.

Jennifer Lawrence, Mckenna Grace e Whitney Peak compaiono ciascuna con materiale nuovo. Peak apre l’album con «The Raven», mentre Grace contribuisce con «Half Alive» e Lawrence interpreta «Deep in the Meadow». Whitney Peak compare inoltre in altri tre brani: «The Raven II», «The Raven III» e «The Goose and The Common».

Prodotto esecutivamente da Dave Cobb, l’album è programmato per l’uscita il 13 novembre tramite MCA, una settimana prima che il film prequel arrivi nelle sale il 20 novembre. Tre brani sono già stati pubblicati: il singolo principale di Noah Kahan, «Draw You Out», insieme a nuovi brani dei The Smashing Pumpkins e di Gigi Perez.

Ella Langley contribuisce con «Here Then We’re Gone», dopo un anno in cui «Choosin’ Texas» è diventato il suo singolo di maggior successo e il suo album si è classificato come il secondo album più importante del 2026 finora. Tra gli altri artisti che forniscono nuovi brani figurano Madison Cunningham, Violet Grohl, Noah Cyrus, Lizzy McAlpine, Carter Faith e Kashus Culpepper.

L’album include inoltre remix e registrazioni dal vivo inedite. Tra queste ci sono «Ruthless (Arena Mix)» di Kacey Musgraves, «Doing The Best That I Can (Arena Mix)» di Stevie Nicks, «Survive (Arena Mix | KÁRYYN Rework)» dei Depeche Mode e KÁRYYN e «Alone (Live in Berlin 2022)» dei The Cure.

Il progetto è descritto come un album Companion «ispirato a», il che significa che ci si aspetta che solo un numero ridotto dei suoi brani compaia nel film. L’album della colonna sonora di James Newton Howard è previsto in contemporanea con il film il 20 novembre.
