Publicist Bill Harrison and creative director Johnny Wujek have joined the staff of arts nonprofit The Art of Elysium. Harrison will serve as chief marketing officer, while Wujek will lead the organization’s newly established creative services and talent relations division as vice president.

Harrison will oversee marketing and communications, brand positioning, partnerships, audience development and major organizational initiatives. He will also contribute to long-term plans to raise awareness of the nonprofit’s programming and expand its capacity and geographic reach as it approaches its 30th year.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in communications, brand building and reputation management. Most recently, Harrison was a senior vice president at Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lysis, where he led work for clients including Disney Consumer Products, Amazon Music and the National Hispanic Media Coalition. He previously ran Third Street Media Group and served as CEO of Fifteen Minutes Public Relations.

Wujek, an Emmy-winning costume designer, celebrity stylist and creative director, will guide the nonprofit’s creative work across events, programs, content and cultural initiatives. He will also develop relationships with artists and talent in fashion, music, film and other creative fields.

Founder Jennifer Howell said the two appointments bring complementary strengths and a shared belief in artists’ ability to create lasting change. Harrison and Wujek both said they were looking forward to building on the organization’s work and bringing more creative people into its community.
