Black Snow will return to Stan in Australia on January 1 with two episodes of its third season. Travis Fimmel reprises his role as cold-case investigator James Cormack, with a teaser showing him confronting a case that hits close to home.
Season 3 shifts the story from the fictional town of Moorevale to tropical far north Queensland. James’s brother, Ritchie Cormack, is accused of murdering his best friend, Liam Knox, in 1999. In the present day, Knox’s family run a charter boat business, while Ritchie faces trial.
George Mason returns as Ritchie. New cast members include Lee Tiger Halley, Caroline Craig, Aaron Jeffery, Samson Alston, Rose Riley, Wayne Blair and Charmaine Bingwa.
Fimmel is also an executive producer and will direct episodes alongside Daniel Nettheim and Christiaan Van Vuuren. Lucas Taylor, the series creator, and Beatrix Christian return as writers. Goalpost Pictures produces the series in association with All3Media International and AMC Global Media; AMC Global Media is the U.S. home for the show.
