Maya Hawke will star in a live-action adaptation of “Magic: The Gathering,” the popular trading card game. Her character has not been revealed, and plot details are being kept under wraps.
The game is set across a multiverse of fantasy worlds, where players take the roles of wizards known as Planeswalkers and battle one another. Hawke is expected to lead an ensemble whose other cast members have yet to be announced, according to Deadline, which first reported the news.
