Plex has added seven channels to its free, ad-supported live TV lineup. The new options are available in the Live TV section of the app on smart TVs, streaming devices, phones, tablets and web browsers. Viewers can watch them with a free Plex account, with periodic ads during playback.
The additions span several genres. Western Bound airs Western films and series, while Racing America focuses on motorsports, including race coverage, event highlights and driver profiles. Soul Flix offers independent Black cinema, and Monsters Are Real features documentaries and investigations into cryptids, legendary creatures and unexplained phenomena.
Cosmic Frontiers covers astronomy, cosmology and space exploration through documentaries and educational programming. Complex TV brings together music, pop culture and contemporary storytelling, while Metal Rocks is dedicated to heavy metal, with concert footage and artist profiles.
The channels appear in Plex’s Live TV guide alongside its other free streams. Availability may vary by region because of licensing.
