Saturday Night Live reached a season high with its October 31 Halloween episode, drawing 5.2 million viewers to NBC. The broadcast featured Inde Navarrette and musical guest Gracie Abrams, whose appearances helped attract younger viewers, according to the reported audience figures.
The episode’s audience surpassed the previous season high of 4.6 million, set by the season premiere hosted by Jalen Brunson. Its cold open featured Tom Hanks returning as David S. Pumpkins alongside Bobby Moynihan.
The Halloween broadcast also recorded the show’s highest audience in the 18–49 demographic in two years. It was the season’s most-watched episode on Peacock and the platform’s most-watched streaming episode since Harry Styles hosted and performed in March.
Druski is scheduled to host the November 7 episode, with The Strokes as musical guest. John Mulaney is set to host again on November 14, with Phoebe Bridgers performing.
