Hoopla, the free streaming service for library patrons, has partnered with Hasbro Entertainment to bring content from Hasbro franchises to participating public libraries. Five new Hasbro BingePasses and SeasonPasses are now available on the platform.
A BingePass provides seven days of unlimited, on-demand streaming, while a SeasonPass lets users borrow an entire season for seven days. The new offerings join more than 40 kid-friendly BingePasses and SeasonPasses already available on Hoopla.
The platform also offers Hasbro-licensed comics, audiobooks, music and eBooks from other publishers. Library patrons can access these materials at no cost with a participating library card, without holds or waiting lists.
Hoopla says it plans to add more Hasbro BingePasses, SeasonPasses and individual titles by the end of the year. The additions are expected to include more than 1,500 episodes.
Hoopla is available through thousands of public libraries in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Patrons of participating libraries can use the service through its Android and iOS apps or at hoopladigital.com.
